Ruminal degradation plays an important role in ruminant nutrition, Pennisetum and Chamaecrist lines were more suitable forage in the south of china. The experiment aims at offering the theoretic references in order to research a more appropriate ruminant animals dietary conditions and proportion by studied nutrient components and rumen degradability dynamics of south forage, The rumen degradability dynamics of Chamaecrist in different growth stages was also studied in order to offer the basis and theoretical reference data to choose the appropriate cutting time.1 The Study onnutrient components and rumen degradability dynamics of seven hybrid Pennisetum Lines. The chemical composition and rumen degradability of Seven Pennisetum Lines, were studied which contain Nanmu Pennisetum, Taiwan Pennisetum, Taiwan Pennisetum .king grass, Minmu Pennisetum,P. Pennisetum, Hybrid Pennisetum and Guangxi Pennisetum. The results showed that the dry matter effective degradabilities (ED) of Hybrid Pennisetum and Guangxi Pennisetum were significant higher than other lines(p<0.05), which were 30.45% and 30.44%.The dry matter ED of Nanmu Pennisetum was significant lower than other lines, which was 22.78%(p<0.05).The neutral detergent fiber(NDF) ED of f Hybrid Pennisetum and Guangxi Pennisetum were significant higher than other lines(p<0.05), which were 21.31% and 20.75%. The NDF ED of Nanmu Pennisetum was significant lower than other lines, which was 13.62%.The crude protein (CP) ED of Taiwan Pennisetum was the e significant higher than other lines(p<0.05), which were 56.43%.The CP ED of Minmu Pennisetum (27.72%) were significant lower than other lines(p<0.05),except for king grass, which were 103.57% lower than Taiwan Pennisetum. The dry matter potential degradation extent of seven Hybrid Pennisetum have a positive correlation with crude protein and a negative correlation with neutral detergent fiber. The dry matter potential degradation extent of seven Hybrid Pennisetum have positive correlations with the crude protein and neutral detergent fiber potential degradation extent ,and have more relavant with the potential degradation of neutral detergent fiber, which implicated that there were more efficient by improving the degradation of neutral detergent fiber potential to use Pennisetum Lines.2 The Study on nutrient components and rumen degradability dynamics of Chamaecrist in different stage of maturityThe nutrient components and rumen degradability dynamics of C. rotundifol.2217 and C.nictitar.34721 in early-blooming stage ,full-bloom stage and bearing pod stage were studied .The results showed that from early-blooming stage to bearing pod stage. The CP content of Chamaecrist decreased as the maturity progressed. The NDF content of Chamaecrist First decreased and then increased. The ED of DM of the C. rotundifol (31.44%) at full-bloom stage bearing pod stage was respectively 14.53% and 35.52%(P<0.05) higher than those of early-blooming stage(27.45%) and bearing pod stage(23.20%). however, there was not significant difference between full-bloom stage and early-blooming stage. The ED of DM of the C.nictitar. at early-blooming stage(25.78%) was higher than full-bloom stage(24.56%) and bearing pod stage(21.57%),but there was not significant difference between the maturity stage. The ED of NDF of the C. rotundifol at early-blooming stage(20.31%) and full-bloom stage(19.18%) were respectively 56.11% and 47.42% significant higher than bearing pod stage(13.01%)(P<0.05),The ED of NDF of the C.nictitar. at early-blooming stage(11.84%) were higher than full-bloom stage(10.46%) and bearing pod stage(9.12%),but there was not significant difference between all the maturity stage. The ED of CP of the C. rotundifol at full-bloom stage (41.17%) were 5.43% and 17.93(P<0.05) than early-blooming stage(39.05%) and bearing pod stage(34.91%), but there was not significant difference between full-bloom stage and early-blooming stage. The ED of CP of the C.nictitar. at full-bloom stage(49.62%) were significant than early-blooming stage(35.91%) and bearing pod stage(35.32%) (P<0.05), but there was not significant difference between early-blooming stage and bearing pod stage. These data indicate that the C. rotundifol.2217 and C.nictitar.34721 should be used between early-blooming stage and full-bloom stage...
