In this study, the use of ecology, soil and water conservation, botany, plant physiology and other disciplines principles fixed in the previous study on the basis of observation and, from the Ninghang, Ningchang Expressway often chosen eight slope of Ecological shrubs on the slope of Its root in the vertical distribution of research. Eight shrubs on the highway of the solid earth ecological slope efficiency and absorption efficiency. For future highway projects of ecological research and practice slope to provide theoretical support and practical information.The main research contents and results include:(1)Describes the eight kinds of shrubs root system architecture; From the root length, root volume and root dry weight, as well as systematic analysis of several aspects of root reduced coefficient of eight vertical distribution characteristics of shrub roots.(2)From the root length density, root weight density, corrosion resistance and soil organic matter content analysis of four aspects of the solid earth-effectiveness of shrubs, results showed that the relatively non-shrub-covered wasteland, there are shrub-covered soil, organic matter content and improve the slope stability. Comprehensive comparison of the performance are better Amorpha fruticosa, Cassia corymbosa, and Pittosporum tobira; Rosa chinensis, Hypericum chinensis next tier of performance; Hibiscus mutabilis, Photinia×fraseri, and Mahonia fortunei credit capacity of an integrated solid earth lower.(3)From the eight kinds of shrubs, fine root length, surface area, dry weight of three indicators for analysis of different root absorption efficiency, results show that the performance of Pittosporum tobira most outstanding, followed by Hypericum chinensis; Mahonia fortunei, Cassia corymbosa, Hibiscus mutabilis performance was followed by three; Amorpha fruticosa, Rosa chinensis, Photinia×fraseri performance somewhat less.(4)Eco-slope in the highway construction, according to the slope safety, landscape and other factors, there is the choice of destination slope shrubs in a relatively steep slope of Ecological should choose a strong capacity to solid earth berm shrubs (such as Amorpha fruticosa, Cassia corymbosa, Pittosporum tobira, etc.) to ensure the safety and slope stability; gentler slope of choice has good absorption of the ecological benefits of shrubs (such as Pittosporum tobira, Hypericum chinensis, Mahonia fortunei, Cassia corymbosa, etc.), combined with protection and landscape features, to improve the overall efficiency slope.
