Blood flow velocity(BFV) was detected with HDI 5000colour doppler ultrasound in 28 healthy voluneers to observewhether there was difference among BFV of each section of about6.0 cm common carotid artery(CCA). CCA was divided into fivesections per lcm from it's beginning to it's bifurcation. BFV wasdetected in each section. Influences of age, heat rate, bloodpressure on BFV were observed. The results showed that BFVdecreased gradally from it's beginning to it's divergence theaverage de creasing value of each section BFV was 5.37 cm/s,and 4.24 cm/s, difference between maximal BFV and minimumBFV was 17.35 cm/s and 14.32 cm/s in right, left CCArespectively, maximal BFV increased when age added, highblood pressure increased and heart rate decreased. But the changeof each section BFV wasn't influenced by age, blood pressure, heart rate. The results indicated that each section BFV wasn'teternal in CCA, deviation was much big when stenosis was valuedby internal carotid artery(ICA) BFV/CCA BFV, we'd better valueICA stenosis with maximal BFV of ICA.In order to study the relation between the vessel intima mediathickness (wt and the degree and the extent of coronny stenosisin the young and middle age coronny heart disease (CHD)patieats, l07 patiellts who were highly susPected as CHD andunderwent coronny angiograPhy were divided into 3 grOuPsaccording to the degree of stenosis: Group A, 44 patients with thecoronary stenosis less than 50%; Group B, 27 patieme with thestenosis greater than 50%: Contrast grouP: 36 patiellts withoutstenosis, 71 patients were divided into single vessel lesion groupwith 50 cases and double vessel lesion grouP with 2l cases. TheIMT of the begdring of CCA, femoral artery(FA) and poPlitealartery (PA), was measured. Results showed that the IMT of CCAbecame thicker in group A and grouP B. The multiple comParisonhad statistical significance. The Comparisons betWeen group Aand Contrast group in IMT of the left and righ FA and PA had nostatistical significance excePt righ FA. The na of each vesselwas correlated with the coronny stenosis degree significantly Thecorrelation degree was Left CCA, righ CCA, righ FA, right PA,left FA and left PA orderly The compedson had significandifference betWeen the single and the double vessel lesion grouP.More over, the artery homodynamic state of lower limbs (LL)in CHD p8tients with slight coronary stenosis was stUdied 20patients with coronary stenosis less than 50% and with nomorphologic change in LL underwent exercise stress test. Colltrastgroup included 20 normal persons. The results showed that beforethe stress test, there was no statishcal difference betWeen tWogroup in each index, Which indicated the basic sitUation was thesame. After the teSt, in CHD grouP, the ration betWeen tibiadartery and blood tenuirs become less, and resistance index(RJ),pulsatile index(PI) and A increased significanly Heart rate(HR)and left ventri-cular echo fiow-volume(LVEF) increased markedlytoo. While in contrast grouP, only HR and LVEF increased. Itindicated that in CHD patients with slight lesion, there was hemodynemic abnormality before the LL artery morphologic change.Above mentioned index combined with simple stress test areuseful tO determine the LL vessel lesion in the early stage. The results showed: 1) Each section BFV wasn't etemal inCCA, deviation was much big when stenosis was valued dy ICABFV/CCA BFV we'd better value ICA stenosis with maximalBFV of ICA. 2) CCA IMT could reflect coronary artery stenosisdegree very welI in the young and middle age persons, but therewas no relation betWeen Im and the range of coronary arterylesion. 3) Hemodynamic abnormality first appeared, thenmorphologic change aPpeared in LL artery of CHD patientSwhose coronny artery stenosis were less than 50%.Conclusion: l) BFV isn't etemal in CCA, there are deviationsamong maalmal BFV in different places, so we...
