Treatment based on syndrome differentiation is the essence of TCM. The effective treatment depends on the accurate syndrome differentiation. However, most of diagnostic criteria of TCM syndrome are established on the basic of intuitive and empirical observation, the concept and diagnosis standard of syndrome are imprecise and vague. Be quantifiable is the requirement of clinic, scientific research and teaching. The quantitative diagnosis is an important way for the standardization and objectiveness of zheng - differentiation. Heart blood stasis syndrome is the most common one in heart disease. Blood stasis has close relation to the heart. The diagnosis standard?s study of heart blood stasis can effectively accelerate the development of heart disease research. This research investigated the clinic cases, used the epidemiological and statistical ways, analyzed the rules of signs and symptoms, applied method of enumeration dataethod of maximum likelihood and inquired the macroscopic quantitative diagnostic standard. In the same time, we tested the index which can reflex the stasis of blood, blood vessel and heart to establish the microcosmic diagnostic discrepant function. In part one, it?s discussed that ancient opinion about physiology and pathology of the heart, pathogenesis and symptoms of heart blood stasis. It?s expounded the modern research which mainly focus on microcosmic diagnosis, such as blood hemorrheology examination, microcirculation, blood platelet function, ultrasonic cardiogram, examination of heart 3 function, etc. It?s also expatiated the objectiveness study of four methods of physical examination of heart blood stasis. In part two, 310 heart disease patients are divided into 2 groups, one is heart blood stasis group (160 cases), the other is non梙eart blood stasis group (150 cases). According to relevant norm, an investigation list including 90 symptoms and signs was designed. Using the chi梥quare test and the method of maximum likelihood, we got 11 symptoms and signs which can make the best discrimination. And established the diagnostic score table of heart blood stasis syndrome. Using the table, the coincidence rate was 84.71%. It shows the table can provide the satisfactory effect for the diagnosis of heart blood stasis patients. In part three, 50 heart blood stasis patients and 50 non梙eart blood stasis syndrome patients were sampled random. At the same time, 30 healthy persons were set up. Examining index, such as hemorrheological index, ET, NO, TXA,/PGI2, heart function, ultrasonic cardiogram, etc, then using stepwise discriminent method, 4 index were chosen to make a discriminate function. After retrospective examination, the conformable rate is 81%.
