Expression of Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor (VEGF) in human Ovary and Endometrium Tissues and the relation to Ovarian Hyperstimulation Syndrome(OHSS) OBJECTIVE: To investigate the expression of VEGF in human ovary and endometrium tissues and its regulation according to the menstrual cycle. To evaluate the function of VEGF and other clinlic indexs to forcast OHSS. METHODS: Twenty ovary and endometrium specimens were obtain- ed from operated patients. Immuohistochemical reactions of VEGF were compared in these tissues.Collecting the serum and follicular fluid(FF) of the 42 cases who joined in the IVF-ET cycles and then analysing the relationship of the clinlical and detected indexs between the OHSS and the No-OHSS. RESULTS: (1) VEGF expression is detectable in the granulosa cells during the course of follicular development in human ovaries.
