Experimental Researches On The Postponing Senility Functions Of Aloe Polysaccharide

It抯 the natural law that all living things come from growth to senescence. Normal senility means that the organism has the retrogressive change of physiology and adaptive capacity. The aim of studying the laws of senility is to probe the laws of life, develop new medicines to decrease the speed of senescence and strengthen the capacity of preventing and resisting disease to ensure vigorous work, study and life.In the section of summary, first from the reasons of senility, several theories were brought up (including poisoning theory% immune theory~ endocrinic theOry~ crosslinking theory.~ genetic theory and free radical theory). Then, the understanding and treatment of senility from Western medicine and traditional Chinese medicine were interpreted. Last, the emphasis was laid on aloe polysaccharide and its potentiality and value were proved.憕憕 The section of pharmacological experimentation embraced several experiments, in which the influence of polysaccharide of aloe vera linneaus on the serum level of SOD, CAT and the content of protein and CAT in the liver of the aged rats were observed compared with VE and blank groups.The results showed a definite function of postponing senility and offered a new idea for opening up a broad market.
