Genetic Polymorphisms Of Three STR Loci In Dong Ethnic Group In GuangXi Province

Objective: This study was conducted to investigate the distribution of three STR loci in Dong ethnic group in GuangXi province. Materials and methods: Heparin-blood specimens were collected from 120 healthy unrelated Dong individual in GuangXi province, DNA was extracted by using phynol-chloroform method. Typing of HUMCSF1PO, HUMTPOX, HUMTH01 can be accomplished by amplification of genomic DNA using the polymerase chain reaction(PCR) and locus-specific primers, separation and detection amplified alleles using high resolution vertical denaturing polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis(PAGE) and silver staining. Results: 7 alleles and 17 genotypes of HUMCSFIPO locus, 5 alleles and 11 genotypes of HUMTPOX locus, 6 alleles and 16 genotypes of HUMTH01 locus were observed. The allele distribution of the loci was in good agreement of Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium. Conclusion: The data obtained can be used in population genetics research and forensic application.
