Ovarian clear cell carcinoma is classified into epithelial tumor. Since it is insensitive to chemotherapy, its prognosis is bad even if the early chemotherapy is included in its treatment plan. This article is to analyze quantitatively and qualitatively the relevant factors that influence the prognosis of the tumor by clinical analysis of pathology and the method of immuno-histochemsitry in order to provide deeper understanding of the tumor 's theory and its characteristics , provide correct clinical treatment and prolong the patients' survival time.1. Clinical Data. Selected 24 cases with ovarian clear cell carcinoma to do clinical pathological analysis, which came from General Army Hospital in 1981?000 with full clinical data and did not die from other causes. Among which, there were 5 cases with both side-ovarian clear cell carcinoma, onset-age of 32-71 years (median age was 50.6 years) and survival time was 4-240 months (median survival time was 25 months). Up to now, 12 patients are still alive. The patients' five year- survival rate was 49.24%. According to statistics, it is believed that all the following factors can be regarded as independent factors that can evaluate the prognosis: clinical stage classification, whether coming with endometriosis, cell type classification, the degree of cellular differentiation and the size of the tumor. Among the above, the following got the better prognosis: in early clinical stage, Coming with endometriosis, being clear cell type in majority, higher differentiation of the cells and small size of the tumor.2.1ntrotumor micro-vessel density (IMD). Separated the patients into high IMD group and low IMD group. The result showed that the patients with high IMD had a significant shorter survival time than the patients with low IMD. We determined andanalyzed the relationship between VEGF, TP expression and IMD. The result indicated that there were significant correlation between VEGF, TP and IMD. Whether low or high expressions of VEGF and TP has a significant influential difference for the patients' survival time.3. p53 Cyclin E and CD44v6. There was little positive expression in Ovarian clear cell carcinoma. According to the statistics, there was no significant correlation between p53 expression and patients' survival time. The mutation of p53 gene is not crucial in onset and development of clear cell carcinoma, which is different from other ovary cancer. Cyclin E has a high expression in the tissue of Ovarian clear cell carcinoma. We found no significant difference between the degree of Cyclin E expression and the patients' survival time. There was significant difference of the patients' survival time between CD44 ve. Expression group and non-CD44 ve. Expression group. There was a close relationship between high expression of CD44 ve.and the development of the cancer. Therefore , CD44 V6. can be used as a marker for predicting the potential of cancer metastasis and evaluating the prognosis.
