Aralia elata(Miq.)Seem is an important traditional Chinese medicine. Based on the elementary research date of Aralia elata Seem and valuable ingredient isolated form it, it is indicated that saponin is it's chief chemical components, and the total saponin of it is related to the anti-tumor effect, but it's effective mechanism has not clear yet.In this study, we adopted mice model loaded H22 cells as objects of research and proved the genetic toxicity of the total saponin of Aralia elata Seem leaf and it's anti-tumor effect.
