First partSeveral monomes from Tripterygium wilfordii inhibite proliferation of glioma cells and vascular enththelial cells in vitroObjective: The current study was designed to investigate inhibitive effect of several monomes of Tripterygium \vilfordii on the proliferation of glioma cells and enththelial cells of vessels(ECV).Methods:The effect of four monomes from Tripterygium \vilfordii on the proliferation of glioma cells SHG44 C6 U251 and ECV in vitro was examined using MTT assay.Result: The proliferation of ECV was inhibited by tripterine, which belong to triterpenes .So was glioma cells . TriptoKde and LLDT-10 treatment resulted in significantly inhibition of glioma cells except ECV.Conclusion :These findings suggest tripterine inhibited the proliferation of ECV Triptolide had significantly inhibition of glioma cell. These data from experiment in vitro provide foundation for future experiment in vivo..
