The Research On The Effect Of Pen Qiangyan Granule On The Immunity And Ultrastructure Of Chronic Pelvic Inflammatory Disease

Objective: To explore the effect of Pen Qiangyan Granule on the immunity and ultrastructure of chronic pelvic inflammatory disease of blood stasis and asthenia of kidney. Methods: Sixty patients were divided into two groups randomly:the treatment group and the control group. Symptoms and signs of each group were observed before and after treatment .Meanwhile both the levels of CD4, CD8 of the blood plasma and the levels of TNF, IL-2 of the blood serum were measured. Rat model was made with mixed bacterium. After treatment we assayed the levels of CD4, CD8, TNF, IL-2 of blood and observed the changes of ultrastructure of rats'endometrium by enzyme cytochemical technique. Results: The total effective rate of the treatment group and the control group is significantly different (P<0.05). After treatment by Pen Qiangyan Granule , the levels of CD4, CD4/CD8 and IL-2 in blood are improved ,while the levels of CDs and TNF in blood are decreased (P<0.05). The experimental results show that the levels of CD4,CD8, TNF and IL-2 in blood of the treatment group and the control group are significantly different(P<0.05). We also observe the changes of ultrastructure of rats'endometrium through electron microscope. The number of lysosomes in the epithelia of endometrium of the treatment group rats is less than that of the control group rats. The shapes of microvillis of endometrium of the treatment group rats are more regular than those of the control group rats. Conclusions: There is low immunity in the chronic pelvic inflammatory disease of blood stasis and asthenia of kidney, Pen Qiangyan Granule can moderate the immunity and inhabit inflammation, and it can also improve the function of cells.
