The Clinical Study Of PenQiang Yan Granule On Treating Chronic Pelvic Inflammatory Disease And The Effect On Inflammatory Cytokines IL-6 And IL-4 Of The Experimental Model Rats

Objective:Exploring the clinical efficacy of Pen Qiangyan Granule on treating chronic pelvic inflammatory Disease (CPID)of blood stagnate and deficiency of the kidney and the effect on inflammatory cytokines of the experimental model rats and probing the mechanism of action .Methods:71 patients are divided into two groups at random. 35 patients in observation group are treated with Pen Qiangyan Granule. 36 patients in control group are treated with Pen Yanjing Granule . The related items are measured before and after the treatment. 70 rats are randomly divided into seven groups. After the histomorphological changes of the rats' uteri observed, we determine the concentration of IL-6 and IL-4 in serum of rats in each group .Results:The clinical study shows that the efficiency of the treatment group is 85.71%, significantly better than the control group (P <0.05). After treatment, the comprehensive integration, Chinese medicine symptom score, local signs points were significantly different (P <0.05). Treatment group is significantly better than the control group. Animal studies have shown that chronic pelvic inflammatory disease model of pro-inflammatory cytokines in serum IL-6 levels is higher than normal rats, and anti-inflammatory cytokine IL-4 levels is lower than the normal group. After treatment, comparing with model rats the treatment groups in serum level of pro-inflammatory cytokines decreases, and anti-inflammatory cytokine level increases (P <0.05).Conclusions:Pen Qiangyan Granule has effective clinical result in the treatment of Chronic Pelvic Inflammatory Disease with blood stasis asthenia of kidney. The experimental results reveal that Pen Qiangyan Granule can regulate the levels of inflammatory cytokines and alleviate or eliminate chronic inflammatory response.
