To investigate the changes in hormonology in canines involving in gunshot on limbs in hot and humid environment, and get reference data of wounded tissue of gunshot wounds in the special environment. To explore the prevention of deterioration of damaged tissue in gunshot wounds in limbs in hot and humid environment Then the experiment was divided into three parts. The first part 12 healthy male mongrel canines were divided into two groups randomly: hot and humid environment ( HHE ) group, normal environment (NE) group. All the canines had a general anesthesia and fixed in a dorsal position, then we shot it with a gun at the location of the middle back of right thighs where th mascle was full, nevertheless the nerve, vessel and femur bone should be protected. As soon as the injury was induced , the canines were taken to the special environment, HHE group and HA group were managed:Tdb 35.30±0.54℃ Rh 71.67± 4.72%, NE group were managed:Tdb 27.42±1.37℃, Rh 50.25±.74%. The contents of Cortisol and Glucagon in peripheral blood were assayed at 0,2,4,6,8,12 and 24h postinjury. The results showed that the contents of Cortisol and Glucagon tended to rise after gunshot injuries, and the changes in HHE group was more sensitive than that in NE group after tissue injury. After 4h postinjury the contents of Cortisol and Glucagon were much higher in HHE group than thosein NE group. After 16h postinjury the contents of Cortisol tended to decline, and after 24h postinjury they had been lower in HHE group than those in NE group. The second part 12 healthy male mongrel canines were divided into two groups randomly: hot and humid enviroment ( HHE ) group, normal environment (NE) group. The model of gunshot injury in canine and the invironment are all the same with the first part. The contents of ALP,LDH and CK in peripheral blood were assayed at 0,2,4,6,8,12 and 24h postinjury. The results showed that the contents of serum tissue release enzymes (AKP, LDH, CK-N) were detected at the time of(K2, 4, 6,8,12,24 hours after wounded. The results were that after wounded serum enzymes tended to rise after gunshot injuries, especially CK. The changes in the contents of serum enzymes in HHE group appeared earlier and more obviously than those in NE group. The third part 18 healthy male mongrel canines were divided into three groups randomly: hot and humid enviroment ( HHE ) group, normal environment (NE) group and heat acclimatization (HA)group. The model of gunshot injury in canine and the invironment are all the same with the first part. Histopathological changes and bacterial quantity in wound tracks were observed at postinjury 0,2,4,6,8,12 and 24h . It was found that the swelling of limbs, local pathological changes in injuried tissues of HA group were significantly less serious and appeared later than those of HHE group, but severer and appeared earlier than those of NE group. The period that the bacterial quantity reaching the critical point of infection was 8h in HHE group ,12h in HA group and NE group. It is concluded that hot and humid invironment would aggravate systemicreactions and tissue damage after gunshot injuries. The contents of serum enzymes coincided with the severity of local tissue damage.and change in the content of CK was more sensitive after tissue, injury. The pathological changes in gunshot injury hi canines inflicted hi hot and humid environment could be lessened by exercise with heat acclimatization.
