PurposeTo study an affect of ligated several segment artery in anterior spinal surgery effect on spinal cord artery supply,we proceed the clinical anatomy and animal experiments of anterior spinal surgery of scoliosis to affect thoracic and waist segment of spinal cord artery supply. We can confirm whether the surgery effect artery supply of spinal cord. To provide reference for ink and Formalin filling,we matched filling in vio and after dead 12h.Methods1 11 human fresh cadavers were divided into three groups at random (Group A:vacuity contast;Group B:unilateral ligated intercostal artery;Group C:bilateral ligated intercostal artery). The cadavers in A-group have not been operated. The cadavers in B-group were ligated left-Side T7-Tn intercostal arteries and the specimens in C-group were ligated bilateral T7- TH intercostal arteries. And then the speciments were filled in ink and Formalin perfusate from femoral artery. The T5-Li spinal cords were cut into 250 um continuous frozen sections after the spinal cord were taken out and fixed in 10% Formalin. The sections were observed with stereology microscope and light microscope. The photos of sections were analysised. The numbers and total areas of blood vessels and the areas of spinal cord in cross-section were measured and the densities of blood vessels in cross-section were calculated. During the statistical analysis,SPSS 10.0 was applied. 2 4 New Zealand rabbits were divided into filled in vivo group and filledafter died 12h group. Specimens of filled in vivo group were filled in vivo and specimens of filled after died 12h group were filled after the rabbits died 12 hours. The T5-L1 spinal cords were cut into 150u m continuous frozen section after the spinal cords were taken out and fixed in 10% Formalin. The sections were observed with stereology microscope and light microscope. The photos of sections were analysised. The numbers and total areas of blood vessels and the areas of spinal cord in cross-section were measured and the densities of blood vessels in cross-section were calculated. During the statistical analysis,SPSS 10.0 was used.3 6 New Zealand rabbits were divided into group A group B and group C. The rabbits in A-group have been done no operation. The rabbits in B-group were ligated left-Side T7-T11 intercostal artery and the rabbits in C-group were ligated bilateral T7-T11 intercostal artery. And then the rabbits were filled ink and Formalin perfusate from femoral artery. The spinal cords were cut into 250 u m continuous frozen section after T5-L1 spinal cord were taken out and fixed in 10% Formalin. The sections were observed with stereology microscope and light microscope. The photos of sections were analysised. The number and total area of blood vessels and the area of spinal cord in cross-section were measured and the densities of blood vessels in cross-section were calculated. During the statistical analysis,SPSS 10.0 was applied.Result1 In the clinical anatomic study of anterior spinal surgery to affect thoracic and waist segment of spinal cord artery supply, only the quantities of arteries of specimens in group C had segmental significant difference. The other specimens in other groups were not statistically different. The quantities of arteries in segment T5-T7 had no significant difference among groups, but the quantities in segment T8-L1 were statistically different among groups. The densities of blood vessels of specimens in group C had segmental significant difference, but the densities of blood vessels of group A or groupB had no segmental statistical difference. The densities of arteries of segment T5-T8 had no significant difference among groups, but the one of segment T8-L1 had greatly significant difference.2 The quantities and densities of arteries of the spinal cords of rabbits of filled in vivo group were significantly different to them of filled after died 12h group.3 When we compared the quantities and densities of arteries of thoracic and waist spinal cords of rabbits in each or in group,...
