Objective: The spinal blood mostly comes from anterior and posterior spinal arteries and some radicular arteries. The blood supply of cervical spinal cord is much more rich. The vascular diseases of spinal cord are increasing as a result of the advancement of diagnosis. The blood circulation disturbance of spinal cord can result from trauma, operation, never root block, interventional radian therapy, embolism, secondary blood vessel compression and kinds of vascular diseases. But at present, there are arguments about whether the disorder of anterior spinal artery is the fatal cause of cervical spondylotic myelopathy, and the elementary investigation about anterior spinal artery syndrome is also rare. On the other hand, because of more radicular arteries supplying cervical spinal cord, there are different opinions on whether the radicular arteries injuries can bring severe lesion of cervical spinal cord. All these troubled doctors during clinical operations and therapy. In this experiment, the animal model of interruption of rabbits'anterior spinal arteries in cervical part was established. In order to comprehend the schemic injuries and compensation after acute interruption of anterior spinal artery, the blood flow and functions of cervical spinal cord were observed, the pathologic and ultrastructural changes of tissue were studied under optic and electron miscroscopes, the energy metabolism was detecticted. In addition, the animal model of indirect interruption of rabbits'anterior radicular arteries ( ligated anterior spinal artery and bilateral vertebral arteries at C6,C7 ) was established. The two models were compared to learn about the ischemic effect on cervical spinal cord after injuries of some anterior radicular arteries. Methods: Two different rabbit models were established, one group's anterior spinal artery was interrupted in the cervical part, the other's anterior spinal artery and bilateral vertebral arteries were both interrupted which excluded the anterior radicular arteries coming from bilateral vertebral arteries. So the latter was called a model of indirect interruption of anterior radicular arteries. According to the ischemic time, the experimental groups were both divided into 6h groups, 24h groups and 72h groups. In order to study the...
