ObjectiveTo investigate the possible risk factors of CG and evaluate the curative effects between antibiotic therapy and TUR plus BCG+IL-2 treatment by sound clinical epidemiological methods and summarize the clinical experience.MethodsThe clinical materials of 54 cases of CG were collected .A risk factors table was designed and the case group and the control group were surveyed according to it respectively. All of the data were analyzed by the Logistic single factor model. The oral antibiotic and TUR plus BCG+IL-2 therapy were applied in the same case group and the curative effects were evaluated and compared by certain criterias. At the same time, all of the clinical experience was summarized.Results1. There are no specific symptoms of CG and the main clinical appearance are lower urinary tract symptom and or hematuria. 2. In the field of cystoscopy ,the lesions of CG mainly locate around the triangle of urinary bladder and the Ultrasound examination type B can clearly display the line between the lesion and the rest of the wall of bladder.3. The case -control study shows that the lower urinary tract infection and obstruction may be the risk factors of CG and the correlation between CG and bladder stone does not be confirmed by this study. This study does not show there are common risk factors between CG and carcinoma of urinary bladder, such as cigarette smoking. 4. The therapeutic clinical trial shows that the curative effect of TUR is much better than that of oral antibiotic and there is statistical significancebetween the two (P<0.01)Judged from the changes of BS ,the TUR can improve the symptoms of CG patients and can enhance their life quality dramastically.Conclusions1. The confirmative diagnosis of CG is obtained by pathological examination on the biopsy specimen got via cystoscopy, but other examinations have indisplaceable advantages over cystoscopy and should not be ignored.2. The lower urinary tract infection and obstruction may be the risk factors of CG and the correlation between CG and bladder stone does not be confirmed by this study.3. The curative effect of TUR is much better than that of oral antibiotic and it can improve the symptoms of CG patients and enhance their life quality dramastically. 4. This study does not show there are common risk factors between CG and carcinoma of urinary bladder and the relationship between CG and carcinoma of urinary bladder needs further research from different angles.
