Objective To study the MR imaging findings of caudal regression syndrome and its concurrent malformation. Methods and Materials The clinical and MR imaging findings of 3 cases of caudal regression syndrome were collected and their MR imaging findings were analyzed retrospectively. Results There were part of sacrum and coccyges deficit, anterior sacral myelomenimgocele, lipoma in intral- and extral-vertebral canal in all 3 cases, tethered cord in 2 cases. Conclusions As the first choice for further radiological evaluation method, MRI can detect caudal regression syndrome in early stage and it is valuable in making a definitive diagnosis.
