The Study On Regional Classification Index And Methods For Health Resource Allocation In Yunnan Province

Health resources allocation is a scientific method of rational using the limit resources in the world. There are a number of drawbacks in our country's allocation of health resources today, such as irrational distribution and allocation, low utilization ratio. So we must seek a rational allocation of health resource. Health resources allocation is a difficult question in the whole world. Many experts have studied on it, but there is still not a good method of health resources allocation to be accepted. This subject aimed at studying on scientific regional classified index and methods of health resources in Yunnan province. In order to do the work of health resources allocation of Yunnan province good. We have to filtrate fit regional classified index for health resource allocation in Yunnan province, sixteen ground state cities of Yunnan province had been separated into appropriate sorts according to selected regional classified index. We have collected more than fifty indexes of relevant population, input of social with economic condition and hygiene budget, resident health condition, resident culture, life level and poor condition etc in different ground state cities of Yunnan province in 1990-1999. The methods of analysis were used by expert consulting graded approach, discrete tendency, principal component analysis, cluster analysis to select influence indexes. At last, seven classified variables to contain representative good, sensitivity highness, independent strength and practicability were selected from more than fifty influence index. Sixteen ground state cities in Yunnan province were divided into five types by selected these classified variables according to system cluster analysis and the method of count symbolized data by adopted the data in 1999. The same result was given from two different methods. So we could believe this distinctclassification is the same as the actual situation of Yunnan province. This study results on regional classified index of health resource offered the science base to the establishment of allocation standard for regional health resource in Yunnan province.
