Objective To discuss the relationship between the regional cerebral blood flow(rCBF), the diaschisis and the change of (δ+0)/(α+β) in acute cerebral infarction(CI). This may give us a better understanding of new forms of treatment. Methods 30 patients underwent CT within 24 hours and single-photon emission-computed temography(SPECT) within T2 hours after onset of CI,we also studied the change of (δ+0 )/(α+β)on brain electrical activity mapping (BEAM).Semiquantitative rCBF were measured using SPECT.SPECT graded scale, neurological grading within 72h affter onset and Barthel Index(BF) of 4 weeks after onset were evaluated. Results (1) The rCBF in infarct and its surrounding area decreased. The ration of rCBF was less than 0.9.(2)The detection of BEAM showed that the ration of (δ+0)/(α+β) was improved. There was a significant linear correlation between the change of rCBF and the ration of (δ+0)/(α+β) (frontal lobe r=-0.741,temporal lobe r=-0.762,parietal lobe r=-0.779,occipital lobe r=-0.724,P<0.05).(3)Linear Correlation between SPECT Graded Scale and neurological grading was sigmficant(r=0.83,p<0.01).There is also linear correl at ion between SPECT Graded Scale and Bathel Index(r=-0.79,p<0.01). Conclusion (1)The hypoperfusion of cerebral blood flow and diaschisis resulted in the cerebral function impairment.(2)There was a negative correlation between rCBF and the rationof(δ+0)/( α+β).
