The Clinical Analysis Of Paraneoplastic Syndrome:19 Cases

To discuss the clinical characteristics and diagnosis of paraneoplastic syndromes(PS).MethodsThe clinical datas of 19 case of PS were analysed. The datas were from 1990to 2003 in our hospital.Result(1)PS of these cases include peripheral nerve disease, mascular disorders, cerebral disease and spinal cord disease (2) the types of cancer include lung cancer and so on. (3) Diagnostic methods mainly depends on clnical characteristics CT MRI and so on. Others include serum cancer markers, cerebrospinal fluid examination. With the study of immune mediation mechanism, specific antibody can play an important role in the diagnosis. Some patients have cancer history.ConclusionThe patient with PS as initial symptom are also misdiagnosed due to its latent symptom. PS includes many neuropathy, It has specific clinical charateristcs compared with the same disease accompanied with no cancers.
