| Objective: Summarize the medical records of 46 cases of paraneoplastic syndrome deriving from 43 cases of tumor patients, analyze their traditional Chinese medicine syndrome types and its clinical manifestations, Combined with clinical research and related literature to explore the occurrence characteristics and pathogenesis of paraneoplastic syndrome.Methods: Select the medical records of all the cancer patients that meet the admission criterion in the electronic medical record system of affiliated hospital of shandong university of TCM From November 2011 to November 2014, 46 cases of paraneoplastic syndrome deriving from 43 cases of tumor patients is founded. Analyze their traditional Chinese medicine dialectical types, primary tumors, pathologic types, Clinical manifestations, allergies, the treatment effect of both paraneoplastic syndrom and tumors, Combined with clinical research and related literature to analyze the results from multiple perspectives.Results: The highest percentage of Chinese medicine dialectical types is the phlegm and blood stasis syndrome,which takes 32.6%(14 cases); The most primary tumor is lung cancer, accounting for 41.9%(18 cases); Adenocarcinoma takes the highest percentage in all the pathological types, accounting for 57.1%(24 cases); 65.2%(30cases)of the paraneoplastic syndrome cases took place after the tumor’s discovery. 32.6%(14 cases) of the patients has a history of drug allergy; 75%(6 cases)of the patients who behaved as rheumatic symptoms has the history of drug allergy;35.7%(5cases)of the patients who behaved as skin symptoms has the history of drug allergy; the primary tumors in phase Ⅳaccount for 50.0%(23 cases); The percentage which is in progress after primary tumor curative effect evaluating is as high as 63.0%(29 cases); the percentage that paraneoplastic syndrome symptoms improved is 58.7%(27 cases).Conclusion: The performance of the paraneoplastic syndrome varies a lot, adenocarcinoma is the high-risk factor for paraneoplastic syndrome; Patients with phlegm and blood stasis syndrome are more likely to catch paraneoplastic syndrome; Paraneoplastic syndrome usually indicates that primary tumors are in the stage of progress; The prognosis of paraneoplastic syndrome with tumor progression can be not parallel. |
