| Objective To investigate the placento leptin NPY and insulin in patients with PIH and normal pregnancies and to study its clinical significance. Methods SABC(Strept Avidin-Biotin Complex.) was used to measure the levels of leptin, NPY and insulin in 49 patients with PIH(17 mild, 18 moderate and 14 severe) and 40 normal pregnant women. Placento leptin levels were correlated with insulin, NPY and BP.Results 1, placento levels of leptin in PIH were higher than those in normal pregnant women, P<0. 01 and there was great difference between severe and mild , moderate PIH, P<0. 05 = 2 , The levels of placento NPY in PIH group were higher than normal pregnant women, P<0. 01 and there was great difference between moderate , severe and mild PIH, P<0. 01 . 3, placentolevels of insulin in PIH group were higher than those in normal pregnancy, P<0. 01 and there was great difference between moderate , severe and mild PIH, P<0. 05. 4, Placento leptinlevels positively correlated with NPY ccncentrations, r=0. 753 P<0, 01 . 5, The placento levels of leptin positively correlated with the insulin levels. r=0. 928 P<0. OK 6, The placento levels of leptin positively correlated with the levels ofSBP, DBF and MAP r=0. 313, 0. 412, 0. 402 P<0. 05 respectively. Conclutions The results suggests that the levels ofleptin in placento increased in patients with PIH, Whichmight play an important role in pathogenesis of PIH. Elevated placento leptin levels may be one of the monitor of PIH. |
