Atherosclerosis obliterans is a common peripheral vascular disease resulted from atherosclerosis, which belongs to "blood stasis", "mortification" in traditional Chinese medicine. Kangmai injection is gained in about 20 years' clinical observation by professor Lilinggen, the chairman of therapeutic center of peripheral vascular diseases in the first affiliated hospital of Heilongjiang university of TCM. Kangmai injection has favourable remedial effect in Atherosclerosis obliterans and other peripheral vascular diseases. We used "feeding high fat forge", "roundly shortening femoral artery", " immune injury by injecting bovine serum albumin in vein" to make femoral Atherosclerosis obliterans rabbits. After made treat group of kangmai injection and control group of Mailuoning injection, Observed influence of datum in Endothelin(ET) , Calcitonin gene-related peptide(CGRP), before and after the treatment. The result suggested Kangmai injection obviously reduced ET and advanced CGRP, which is superior to control group. Conclusion: Kangmai injection can effectively prevent from happening and developing of ASO and gain active treat effect by increasing CGRP and decreasing of ET.
