| PrefaceThe incidence rate of coronary heart disease increases continuously recent years. Besides the traditional conception of cardiovascular dangerous factors which lead to the atherosclerosis, hypercoagulability state of blood is also a main cause. The dysfunction of fibrinolytic system is one of the most important roles of it. The function of self - protection is resisted and regulated by fibrinogen activator ( PA ) and its inhibitor ( PAI -1) in plasma, which is to maintain the normal fibrinolytic activity. PAI - 1 plays a main role in this action, People with Impaired glucose tolerance (IGT) are often accompanied by a group of metabolic syndrome, which can aggravate atherosclerosis.Experimental Materials1. Selection of patientsPatients were randomly picked out from the inmates with UAP accompanied by IGT in cardiovascular department in First Auxiliary Hospital of China Medical University from September to December in 2002. Among 30 patients, male patients were 19 cases and female were 11 cases; the range of age was from 42 years to 71 years and the average age was 58 8. 8 years. In addition, 32 inmates with UPA not companied by IGT were picked out; among them, 19 male patients, 13 female patients; the range of age was from 42 years to 73 years and the average age was 59 9. 5 years,the weight index is 25. 1 0. 9. Without other vescular diseases. Blood pressure measurement:Testees were inquired to take no drugs reducing blood pressure or quit taking drugs for 2 weeks as to the drug - taken patients. Blood pressure of pectoral limb was measured with mercury hemomanometer in a rest state. Blood pressure of every patient was measured for three times and the average value was used.2. Collection of sample;(1) Venous blood of patients with UAP were drawn from the venous intermedia cubiti in the calm and fast state at 8 in the second morning after hospitalization , put into polystyrene test with 2% EATA -2NA(blood: anticoagulant = 1: 9) , and centrifuged at the speed of 3000rmp for 10 minutes. The upper liquid was collected( plasma, yellow) and stored in -70 refrigerator to detectthe content of PAI -1 and t - PA.(2) Venous blood of patients with UAP were drawn in the calm and fast state in the second morning after hospitalization to assay fast blood glucose, blood lipid, serum insulin , took 75 g glucose to make glucose tolerance test.
