The Relationship Between Expression of VEGF . MMP2 And Clinical Pathology Of Primary Lung CarcinomaObjective: To study the relationship between expression of VEGF (Vascular endothelial growth factor), MMP2 (matrix metalloproteinase II) and clinical pathology of primary lung carcinoma. Methods: PowerVision?PV9000 method was used to detect the expression of VEGF, MMP2 in 75 cases of primary lung carcinoma. Results: 1. Positive staining for VEGF was obtained in 46 cases of pulmonary carcinoma, and the positive rate was 61.33%. The expressive intensity of VEGF was significantly different among histopathological groups ( I and II, II and III, III and I ; P = 0.038, 0.001, 0.000), the more poorly differentiated tumor cell was, the higher the expressive intensity of VEGF was. The increased expression of VEGF was also related to lymph node metastasis and poor prognosis. It was significantly high er in the group with lymph node metastasis than that in the group without lymph node metastasis (Z= 3.319, P = 0.001). The differences were also obviously significant between X=5 group and 1
