Objective: to investigate the efficacy of pyritum and magnetic field on bone fracture .method: forty-eight adult rabbits were used to preparing the model of the radio fracture, these rabbits were randomly divided into three groups: A group is control group, B group was treated with pyritum , C group was treated with pyritum and magnet. The calluses were measured through X-ray . bio-mechanics . micro-elements, collagen and calcium of callus were studied. The clinic study included 31 patients with fracture of upper end of humerus. 17 patients were treated with pyritum and magnet. 14 patients were treated with placebo. Pain .swell, function and callus were observed.Result: The forming of callus can be accelerated by Pyritum and magnet. The bio-mechanical characters were enhanced, more micro-elements. collagen and calcium were found in callus. Clinic study found that pyritum cooperating with magnet can alleviate pain and swell, and improving.the fuction of the arms .Conclusion: pyritum cooperating with magnet can accelerate fracture healing and function resuming. The micro-elements in pyritum can active enzymes. conduce collagen and calcium forming in bone. Magnet can improve micro-circulation in bone and stimulate the excreting of hormones. Magnet increases the quantity of micro-elements in bone.
