| Objective:To investigate the relationship between lumbosacral transtional vertebra and the lumbar intervertebral disc herniation.Method:The study population included 91 patients (44male,47female;age range 31-84y,mean age 48.94y) with lumbar intervertebral disc herniation confirmed by surgery, investigated the incidence of lumbosacral transtional vertebra, furthermore, analysis the relationship between lumbosacral transtional vertebra and intercrestal line and the position of disc herniation, compare the difference between the group with lumbosacral transtional vertebra and the group no lumbosacral transtional vertebra in spine revolve and scoliosis.Result: 48 patients were found with lumbosacral transtional vertebra in 91 lumbar intervertebral disc herniation's(52.75%), which is higher than that of the control group. The type II of castellvi's standard is the most common one, the type III and IV are relatively rare. In the group of lumbar intervertebral disc herniation with lumbosacral transtional vertebra there is 54.17% of lumbarintervertebral disc herniation occurred at the upper one disc of the transtional vertebra, and the spine revolve and scoliosis is much more than the control group.ConclusionrThere's a closer relationship between lumbosacral transtional vertebra and the Lumbar intervertebral disc herniation. The lumbosacral transtional vertebra can influence the stability of low back in many ways,And the Lumbosacral transitional vertebrae can alter the biomechanics of weight transfer at the affected spinal segment. So we can believe that the lumbosacral transtional vertebra is one of the important factors in the emergence of lumbar intervertebral disc herniation. The location of the Lumbar intervertebral disc herniation with Lumbosacral transitional vertebrae is occurred at the upper one disc mostly, the incidence of upper and lower disc herniation is much more than that of the control group. |
