Significance Of Five Serum Tumor Markers Chang In Cervical Cancer

Objectives To evaluate the expression of five serum tumor markers in cervical disease.And to investigate correlation between tumor markers with cervical cancer progress. This five serum tumor markers is CA125,CA19-9,Cyfra21-1,SCC,CEA. Methods With immunoradioasseey the CA125 CA19-9 and Cyfra21-1 in the serum of 28 healthy females and 16 cervical intraepithelial neoplasia and 63 patients with cervical cancer were measured. SCC and CEA were detected with Enzyme-linked Immunosorbent Assay. The relationship between the level of the five tumor marker and the clinicopathologic characteristics of cervical cancer were analyzed. The preradiotherapy and post radiotherapy level of 23 cervical cancer patients were compared. Results (1)The positive rate CA125, CA19-9, Cyfra21-1, SCC and CEA in cervical cancer was 22.2%, 22. 2%, 49.2%, 47.6%, 23. 8%. (2) The sensitivity and specifity by Receiver Operating Characteristic Curve (ROC) show Cyfra21-1, SCC and CEA between cervical cancer and healthy females significant differences (P<0.05) . (3)The levels of Cyfra21-1 and SCC in cervical cancer significant higher than healthy females and cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (P< 0.05). (4) The levels of SCC related with the size of lesion clinical stages pathologic classification and lymph node status(P< 0.05) . The levels of Cyfra21-1 related with clinical stages (P<0.05) . (5)The level of SCC post radiotherapy significant lower than preradiotherapy of cervical cancer (P<0.05). Conclusions CA125, CA19-9, Cyfra21-1, SCC, CEA present in cervical cancer patients serum. The level of Cyfra21-1 and SCC corrlate with cervical cancer progress. The level of SCC response to the radiotherapy.
