Bladder cancer is the most common cancer of genitourinary tract in our country. In recent years the mobility is becoming higher and higher. The majority is the superficial bladder cancer. Nowadays transurethral resection of bladder tumor (TUR-Bt) has been widely used in clinic and has become the golden standard. But the recurrence rate of superficial bladder cancer after surgery is still high. To prevent the recurrence, intravesical instillation of chemical drugs is commonly used. The drugs used today include mitomycin (MMC), hydroxycamptothecin (OPT) and bacillus calmette-guerin (BCG) etc.Brucea javanica oil emulsion (BJOE) is a new drug of the traditional Chinese medicine developed by Shenyang Pharmacy College. It has been put into clinical practice from the 1970s and showed satisfactory anti-cancer effect.
