The Regulation Of FPS On Blood Lipids And Its Mechanism In Hyperlipidemia Animals

Cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases are the most harmful to public health. Disorder of lipid metabolism is main pathogenic factor. How to regulate the blood lipids effectively is a hotspot on modern medicine research. Laminaria japonica Aresch is one kind of nutritious food. It is widely recognized that the extract of Laminaria japonica Aresch, Laminaria japonica polysaccharide, plays multiple roles in pharmacological and biological functions in recent studies. The paper is performed on the influence and the possible mechanisms of fucoidan polysaccharide sulfate(FPS) on hyperlipidemia. The content is as follows:Objective: to investigate the regulation of FPS on lipids and its mechanism in hyperlipidemia animals.Methods:(1)Test of lipids of normal mice: 50 male mice were randomly divided into five groups: normal group, JGL group, FPS low, middle and high dosage groups. Except for the normal group, the other four groups were given drugs (FPS and JGL) by i.g. administration, JGL as the positive drug control. After 4 weeks , blood was collected to test the levels of serum TG and TC.(2)Experiment of preventing and treating hyperlipidemia of mice:60 male mice were randomly divided into six groups: normal group,hyperlipidemia model group, JGL group, FPS low, middle and high dosage groups. Every morning, four groups were treated with drugs, FPS with three dosages and JGL as a positive drug control, by i.g. administration, while the normal group and the model groups were given distilled water. And then, except for the normal group, the other five groups were given fatty emulsion p.m. everyday. After 4 weeks, blood was collected to test the levels of serum TG, TC, LDL-C and HDL-C.
