Objective: The aim of this study was to reveal the relations between expression and turnor biologic behavior such as invasion, metastasis in oral squamous cell caicinoma(OSCC) through analyzing the expression of Col I ,ColIV Fa, CD34, MMP-1 MMP-2,uPA.Methods:: The expression of Col I ,ColIV, Fn, CD34, MMP-1, MMP-2, uPA were analyzed in 80 cases of oral squamous cell carcinoma include carcinoma and epithelium immediately adjacent to carcinoma (EAC) by immunohistochemistry method (universal two-step method).Results: The expressions of Col I ,ColIV, Fn in OSCC were significantly higher than in EAC(P<0.05) and the expressions of CD34, MMP-1, MMP-2, uPA in OSCC were significantly higher than in EAC(,P<0.05). The expression of Col I , ColIV, interstitial Fn in moderate and low grade carcinoma was significant lower than in high gri.de carcinoma, in which the expressions of them were lower than ir. EAC(P<0.05); the expressions of MVD, MMP-1 in moderate and low grade carcinoma were significantly higher than in high grade carcinoma, in which they were significantly higher than in EAC(P<0.05); the expression of basement membrane Fn in moderate and low grade carcinoma was lower than in EAC (p<0.05)and in line with the high grade carcinoma(P>0.05). In addition, there were no difference be:ween the high grade carcinoma and EAC(P>0.05); the expressions of MMP-2 uPA in the high grade careinoma and the moderate and low carcinoma were significantly higher than EAC(P<0.05) and there was no difference between them(P>0.05). The expression of Col I in OSCC negatively correlated with T stage, growth mood, growth locus, grade, clinical stage and lymph node status(r =-0.368,-0.241,-0.256,-0.408,-0.515,-0.393); the expression of basement membrane Fn in OSCC negatively correlated with growth mood, clinical stage, lymph node status(r =-0.260,-0.321,-0.275) and aid not correlate with growth locus, T stage and grade; the expression of interstitial Fn negatively correlated with T stage, grade, clinical stage, lymph node status(r =-0.287,-0.327,-0.437,-0.404) and did not correlate with growth mood and growth locus; the expression of ColIV in OSCC negatively correlated with growth mood , T stage, grade, clinical stage, lymph node stams(r =-0.290,-0.232,-0.427,-0.528,-0.478) and did rot correlate with growth locus; MVD in OSCC positively correlated with...
