Objective: To investigate the mechanism of cutting balloon angioplasty (CBA) on restenosis in patients after PCL.Methods: A Total of 54 CAD patients with normal hs-CRP were randomly dividal into the contral group, balloon angioplasty (BA) group and the cutting balloon angioplasty (CBA) group. The control group only underwent CA, The other two group also underwent CA . The BA group underwent coronary angioplasty plus Stent and the CBA group with CBA plus Stent. Venous blood was collected before angioplasty, immediate after angioplasty as well as 6h, 24h and 48h after angioplasty to measure the content of hs-CRP. Result: All the hs-CRP level were no significant difference in the contral group, the hs-CRP was significant higher in CBA and BA groups than control group 24h and 48h after angioplasty (p<0.01). The plasma level of hs-CRP was significantly higher in BA group than in CBA group 6h, 24h, 48h after angioplasty (p< 0.01).Conclusion: The results suggest that CBA has lower influence on serum leverl of hs-CRP. This may suggest that CBA plus stent implantation prouduce less vessel wall injury and inflation response, which may account for the lower rate of restenosis and cardiovascular events of CBA.
