Objective Ectopic atrial tachycardia (AT) account for 7-15% ofall the supraventricular tachycardias and drugs therapy is undesirable. Mapping of the origin in atrial tachycardia is perplexed and the procedure time for AT radiofrequency(RF) ablation is quite long with the low success ratio. So we tried the monocatheter mapping and RF ablation for the AT therapy in order to shorten the procedure time and improve the procedures' success rate. Methods Primary electrophysiological mapping under X-ray fluoroscopy with the quartation in the right atrium to find the AT origin area and then adopted single ablation catheter to search after the earliest atrial activation(EAA) site carefully and discharge proper current. Selected the patients witn atrioventricular nodal reentrant tachycardia(AVNRT) or atrioventricular reentrant tachycardia(AVRT) as the contrast involved RF ablation therapy to compare the procedure success rate, fluoroscopic time and ablation time, then process the data statistically. Results The AT origin sites in right atrium were 20/21 (95. 2%) cases and 1/21(4.8%) in left atrium. 17(81.0%) patients were pure atrial tachycardias and 4(19.0%) associated with atrioventricular or... |
