| Objective: To discuss the clinical result of Clavicular Hook Plates for treatment of distal clavicular fracture and acromioclavicular luxation. Methods: From January 2003 to December 2004,40 patients underwent Clavicular Hook Plates for 15 patients with distal clavicular fracture, 25 patients with acromioclavicular luxation. There were 28 males and 12 females. The average age of the patients atsurgery were 41.8 years(ranged, 22 to 68 years). Results: The average period of follow—up were 11.7 months(ranged, 4 to 18 months).There was no complication occurred during operative or postoperative periods.Patients could move their should joint postoperative 48 hours. All the patients can recove function of should joint like preoperative except 2 cases. Conclusion: Clavicular Hook Plate is a new operative for the treatment of distal clavicular fracture and acromioclavicular luxation. |
