Expression And Clinical Significance Of P-gp,GST-π,Topo Ⅱ And LRP In Gastric Carcinoma

Objective To study the clinical significance of P-glycoprotein(P-gp), glutathione-s-trannsferase(GST-π ),DNA topoisomerase(Topo Ⅱ ) and lung resistance protein(LRP) expression in gastric carcinama tissue.Methods The expression of P-gp,GST- π ,Topo Ⅱ and LRP in 80 cases of Gastric carcinoma and 20 cases of normal stomach tissues was detected by S-P immunohistochemical technique,its correlation to clinical pathologic characteristic of gastric carcinoma, including age,sex,histological type,invasion degree and lymph node metastasis, was explored.Results (1)Positive expression rates of P-gp,GST- π ,Topo Ⅱ and LRP were 71.25%, 83.75%, 56.25% and 76.25% in 80 cases of gastric carcinoma. Positive expression rates of P-gp,GST- π ,Topo Ⅱ and LRP were 45.00%,70.00%,75.00%,55.50% in 20 cases of normal stomach tissues. P-gp,The expression rates of P-gp,GST- π ,Topo Ⅱ and LRP in gastric carcinoma were all higher than those in normal stomach tissues (P<0.05) .The expression rate of Topo Ⅱ in gastric carcinoma was lower than those in normal stomach tissues(P<0.05). (2) Postive expression rates of P-gp, GST- π ,Topo Ⅱ and LRP in group under 60 were 73.80%,90.48%,45.24%,71.43%, while those in group beyond 60 were 68.42%,76.32%,55.26%,81.58%. There was no significant difference between the two groups (P>0.05) . (3) The expression rates of P-gp, GST- π ,Topo Ⅱ and LRP in well-moderated differentiation adenocarcinoma were 90.91%,95.45%,31.82%,90.91%. Those in poor differentiation adenocarcinoma were 53.13%,68.75%,75.00%,59.38%,and those in mucoid carcinoma were 76.92%,92.31%,34.62%,84.62%. The expression rates of P-gp, GST- π and LRP in well-moderated differentiation adenocarcinoma were significantly higher than those in poor differentiation adenocarcinoma (P<0.05) .
