Objective:TO explore the expression of CD44S and CD44mRNA in ovary tumor and hyaluronic acid (HA)concentration in serum of patients with human ovarian neoplasms and their correlationMethods : HA concentration in 58 serum specimens were determined using radioimmunoassay including 22 malignant neplasms , 16 benign neoplasms , 20 normal control and the expression of CD44S (immunohistochemistry )and CD44mRNA( Hybridization in situ ) in different ovary tissues.Results: The positive expression rates of CD44S and CD44mRNA in malignant cases were significantly higher than that in benign tumors ; There was no significant difference in histologic type; The excessive expression rates of CD44S and CD44mRNA in stage II — IV were significantly higher than that in stage 1 . The serum HA levels before operation in ovarian malignant tumors were significantly higher than those in benign cases and control group ; The serum HA levels before operation in ovarian malignant tumors were significantly associated with clincal stage ,...
