OBJECTIVE To study the expression of estrogen receptor α , estrogen receptor β , progesterone receptor A , progesterone receptor B and Presenilin 2 in sarcoma of uterus. METHODS using immunohistochemistry, we examined the expression of ER α , ER β , PRA, PRB, pS2 protein in 67 cases of myoma of uterus(25 cases of leiomyoma of uterus. 22 cases of cellular leiomyoma(CL). 20 cases of bizarre leiomyoma(BL)), 95 cases of sarcoma (leimyosarcoma(LMS) 61 cases, endometrial stromal sarcoma(ESS) 23 cases and malignant mesodermal mixed tumor(MMMT) 11 cases) as well as 19 cases muscular layer. RESULTS 1 The expression of ER α (1)The expression of ER a in muscular,myoma and sarcoma of ulters.The expressions of ER α protein in three groups above demonstrated significant difference. (x~2=33. 106, P<0. 01). The intensity expression of ERα protein in these three groups were demonstrated sighnificant difference (H=6.086538, p<0.05) .(2)The expressions of ER α protein in leiomyoma,CL and BL has no significant difference ( x~2 =0. 1073, P>0. 05o H=0. 605765, P>0. 05) . (3)The relationship between the expression of ER α protein and the type of pathology: The expressions of ER α in LMS,ESS and MMMT were demostrated significant defference ( x~2 =8. 98529, P<0.05) . In these three groups,the expression of ERα in LMS and MMMT were damonstrated no significant difference( x~2 =3. 1192, P>0.05),but the other two groups were damonstrated significant difference ( x~2 =4.19601, P<0.05.x~2 =6. 12806, P<0.05) .The intensity expressions of ER α protein in LMS and ESS was damonstrated significent difference (U=1.77628,P<0.05) ,it also has significent difference in ESS and MMMT (U=2.59394,P<0.01) .but it has no significent difference in LMS and MMMT(U=1.48693,P>0.05) (4)The relationship between the expression of ER α and the clinic staging of sarcoma: The expressions of ERα in Ⅰ, Ⅱ,Ⅲ/Ⅳ stages have damonstrated significent different ( x~2 =6. 44576, P<0.05) . (5)The expression of ER a was demonstrated different in CL and LMS.It was also has significent difference in BL and LMS ( x~2 =13. 55019, P<0.01 ; U=4.09089, P<0.01; x~2 =14. 44641, P<0.01 ; U=4.60933, P<0.01) .2 The expression of ER β (1)The expression of ER β in muscular,myoma and sarcoma of ulters..The expressions of ER β in LMS,ESS and MMMT demonstrated significant difference. ( x~2=20. 8244, P<0.01). The intensity expression of ERβ protein in muscular layer and myoma were demonstrated significant difference (U=2.92882,P<0.05 ) .It also demonstrated significant difference in myoma and sarcoma( U=4.85461,P<0.01).But it was demonstrated no significant difference in muscalar layer and sarcoma (U=0.27372,P >0.05) .(2)The expressions of ER P protein in leiomyoma,CL and BL has no significant difference ( x2 =0. 00216, P>0. 05; H=0. 903858, P>0. 05) . (3)The relationship between the expression of ER P protein and the type of pathology:.The three groups above were demostrated significant defference ( x2 =14. 5842, PO.01) The intensity expressions of ER P protein in LMS and ESS was damonstrated significent difference (U=2.21188,P<0.05) ,it also has significent difference in ESS and MMMT (U=2.20876,P<0.05 ) .but it has no significent difference in LMS and MMMT (U=0.93912,P>0.05) . (4)The relationship between the expression of ER P and the clinic staging of sarcoma . The expressions of ERP in I> IK III/IV stages have damonstrated no significent different ( x2 =4. 98837, P>0.05 ; H=3.144231, P>0.05) . (5)The expression of ERPwas demonstrated different in CL and LMS ( x2 =13. 2607, PO.01 ; LN3.0643, PO.01;) .It also has significent difference in BL and LMS( x2 =14. 047, PO.01 ; LN2.97901,, PO.01).3 The expression of PRA (l)The expression of PRA in muscular,myoma and sarcoma of ulters. The expressions of PRA protein in three groups above demonstrated significant difference. ( x2=12. 5759, p<0. 01). The intensity expression of PRA protein in muscular layer and myoma were demonstrated significant difference (U=2.33166,PO.01 ) .It also demonstrated significant difference in myoma and sarcoma(U=4.47732,P<0.01).But it was demonstrated no significant difference in muscalar layer and sarcoma (U=0.71471,P>0.05) . (2)The expressions of PRA protein in leiomyoma,CL and BL has no significant difference ( x2 =0. 08716, P>0. 05c H=-3. 26923, P>0. 05) . (3)The relationship between the expression of PRA protein and the type of pathology:, the expression of PRA in LMS and MMMT were damonstrated no significant difference( x2 =0. 27939, P>0.05),but the other two groups were damonstrated significant difference( x2 =7. 74437, PO.01. x2 =6. 58498, PO.05).The intensity expressions of PRA protein in LMS and ESS was damonstrated significent difference(U=3.40057,PO.01),it also has significent difference in ESS and MMMT( U=2.88979,P<0.01 ) .but it has no significent difference in LMS and MMMT (U=0.68868,P>0.05) . (4)The relationship between the expression of PRA and the clinic staging of sarcoma: The expressions of PRA in K II > III/IV stages have damonstrated significent different ( x 2=6. 33142, PO.05) .(5)The expression of PRA was demonstrated different in CL and LMS.lt was also has significent difference in BL and LMS ( x 2 =7. 19344, PO.01 ; U=3.5801, PO.01; x2=6.08802 , PO.01 ; U=3.29115, PO.01) .4 The expression of PRB (l)The expression of PRB in muscular,myoma and sarcoma of ulters.
