MODS has become a severe cause of postburn. Animal model was created by inflicting rats to 30% TBSA 3rd degree burn injury with delayed resuscitation and endotoxemia. From that we test the effect of UTI's on inflammatory factors in serum ,the function of leukocytic adhesion, ischemical reperfusion injury and vasopermeability of rats with severe burns. The serum contents of IL-8, TNF-a, MDA ,lactic acid ,sICAM-land the myeloperoxidase in lung were remarkedly decreased in rats which were administrated by UTI. the D/W of lung and liver was decreased too. All of this demonstrate that Ulinastatin is beneficial in the severe thermal injury, which is helpful to the relief of MODS.
