Protective Effect Of Ulinastatin On Acute Lung Injury In Multiple Organ Dysfunction Syndrome Model Of Rat

Multiple organs dysfunction syndrome is the severest complication of trauma and infection. Lung which is often involved in the process early can develop into ALI /ARDS. We discuss the protective effect of Ulinastatin on acute lung injury in multiple organ dysfunction syndrome through replicating delayed two-phase rat model of MODS by two-hit .The conclusion demonstrates that neutrophil is the main inflammatory cell in the progress of ALI/ARDS and it adheres to endothelial,releases oxyradical and various proteases which injury the lung. Ulinastatin might inhibit neutrophil adhering to endothelial,reduce neutrophil infiltration in the lung tissue,and have antioxidation effect which attenuate lung injury.
