Objective To explore the level and correlation of serum leptin, Glutathione peroxidase (GSH-PX) and other factors in the patients with type 2 diabetic fatty liver and type 2 diabetes. Methods To examine leptin , GSH-PX, TG, TC, HDL-C, LDL-C in the serum and BMI, FAT% of 23 cases type 2 diabetic fatty liver, 30 cases type 2 diabetic inpatients and 30 cases healthy people. To compare their levels and to analyse correlation regression of these factors. Results (1) The TG, BMI, FAT% of type 2 diabetic fatty liver patients are significantly higher than that of the type 2 diabetes and healty people . (2) The level of leptin of type 2 diabetic fatty liver and type 2 diabetes patients is significantly higher than that of healty people. The correlations of leptin with FAT% and age are positive. (3) The level of GSH-PX of type 2 diabetes patients is significantly lower than that of healthy people. There are not significantly differences in GSH-PX level between type 2 diabetic fatty liver and the others group. The correlaiton of GSH-PX with age is negative. The correlation of GSH-PX with HDL-C is positive. Conclusion (1)TGn BMI and FAT% are important risky factors of type 2 diabetic fatty liver.(2) There are "leptin resistance" with type 2 diabetic fatty liver and type 2 diabetes patients .It is influenced by obesity and age. (3) As a result of lipid peroxidation, the serum antioxidant enzyme...
