| Essential hypertension is a type of disease that seriously affects the health and quality of living of human beings. Left ventricular hypertrophy is the main syndrome,which has been increasing in recent years.Modern medicine has been research on making broad and advanced this syndrome, but there are still a lot of disputed and unstudied problems.Using traditional Chinese medicine to treat LVH has the advantage of multi-aspects and multi-ways of treatments. TCM not only decrease blood pressure to a normal level,but also reverses the interstitial fibrosis of cardiac muscle cells. The pathomechanisms of hypertension are very complex, so it's difficult for pattern identification or medicine to gain any effect. There are various clinical opinions, mostly dealing with the treatment of hypertension and LVH through the use of pattern identification. In practice, although they have been fested many times and achieved satisfactory results,they do not have a basis in system theories.This research by means of animal experimentation, which focuses on the mechanism of decreasing blood pressure and reversing the LVH of Yixinshu, tries to find scientific arguments to verify our points. The research object is renovascular hypertension (2KIC-HR). The research discusses mechanism of Yixinshu by observing blood pressure, myocardium, vascular construction, Renin-angiotensin system and ET, NO, AT II .The results show: (1) Yixinshu can control blood pressure effectively; (2) Yixinshu has an evident effect on myocardium and vascular construction ; (3) Yixinshu can increase the NO concentration in blood serum; (4) Yixinshu can decrease endothelin in blood serum; (5) Yixinshu can decrease angiotensin II in blood serum.This research offers some basis for understanding and further... |
