The optimumratio consists of stearic acid 12 g, cetyl alcohol 1 g, liquid paraffin 14 ml, triehtanolamin2 ml, woll fat 12 g and glycerin 5 ml. The contents of prednison acetate, lidocaine,allantoin and vitamin E in the ointment are determined by HPLC. The experimentproved that the method is simple and rapid. Stability, recovery, reproductivity andaccuracy are satisfactory. Regarding content, outward appearance and hygienicalexamination as the index, we finish the stability test by accelerated test. Experimentproved that the outward appearance and content of the ointment haven't any change inclinic packing. The pharmacy and toxicological test proved that the function ofdetumescence of compound prednisone ointment is better than anything else of the kindinternal and no significant difference than Japanese. There was no any response duringthe acute toxity test and irritant test of the rabbits' skin, It is safe, effective andpreferable compound preparation than anything else of the kind.
