Study On Extraction And Purification Process Of Icarrin

To study systematically the extraction and purification process of Icariin.First, with the content of total flavonoid as an index, the orthogonal design of four factors and three levels were used to select the optimum extraction process.The optimum extracting condition was to add 14 times amount of 60% ethanol, refluxing and extracting for 2h every time two times totally. Macroreticular resin was used to purify icariin . The technological parameters of purification process of icariin with Macroreticular resin was established. With 50% ethanol to elute to icarrin and then with Ethyl Acete and 60% ethanol to crystallize, the purity of icariin reached 90.02%.This extraction and purification process is stable and easy to operate which is suit to industrialized production.
