| OBJECTIVE: ShenNingHuoXueDecoction(SHD) has the effect of nourishing qi and yin, invigorating spleen and tonifying kidney, promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis. This study investigated the mechanism of SHD, treating CRF from many sides including clinical curative effect, animal experiment and histopathology.METHODS: 80 cases were divided into 2 groups: 50 cases in the treatment group, treated with SHD, 30 cases in the control group treated with BaoQuanYangDianFen. Both of them took general western medicine In the two groups, the clinical curative, the ET-1 and TNF-a of blood are observed respectively. The Wistar mice were used as CRF model in experiment research. We observed the clinical symptom, physical sign laboratory examinations.RESULTS:The results showed SHD can improve clinical symptom, alleviate the anemia and the kidney function effectively. The total effective rate of the treatment group is 88.00%, better than that of the control group significantly which is 43.33%. From the treatment group we can find that the SHD can decreased the blood ET-1 (P<0.05 ) and the blood TNF-α (P<0.01) .CONCLUSION:SHD can impede the crescendo-developed mechanism of CRF from various target points, protect renal function, improve the patients' life, thereby delay the time before entering dialysis therapy. |
