"Human health" is becoming the most important research center in the world, However, Corpulence is the biggest threat of hunman health. With being aware of the harm of chemicial drug, more and more people search for the natural drug which has not side effects. The leaf of Nelumbo nucifera Gaertn which is called Lotus leaf is widespread in the world. Lotus leaf is a kind of natural plant material used both in food and medicine field. The experience of many years shows that Lotus leaf has the function of weight reduction and decompression, and it is a kind of natural plant which has better development potential. At present, only few researches are about the isolation, purification and structural identification of the flavonoids in Lotus leaf, and the functional ingredients of weight reduction and decompression were not clear. So, my research focus on these areas, and the results have the value of theory and practise in all-around development of Lotus leaf. The main results were as follows:1. Studies on the structural identification of flavonoids in Lotus leafFour compounds isolated from water and ethanol extracts of Lotus leaf by column chromatography were characterized as Hyperons( â…  ), Isoquercetin( â…¡), Astragalin(â…¢), Quercetin(â…£) by UV, IR, MS, NMR(include 1H-NMR,13C-NMR, DEPT, 2D-NMR). Among these compounds, â…¢ isolated from this plant is the first time.2. Studies on the main chemical constituentsWith HPLC-MS, it was found that the water and ethanol extracts of Lotus leaf has thirteen main chemical constituents, and the molecular weights of these thirteen constituents were 507,610,578,520,494,478,596,464,464,448,448,478,302. Among these, the eighth, the ninth, the eleventh and the thirteenth compounds were the compound â… , â…¡ ,â…¢,â…£ which had been isolated in this research.3. Studies on the weight reduction and decompression of the flavoniods in LotusleafDifferential spectrophotometry was used to study the inhibiting effects of the flavonoids in Lotus leaf on amylase and lipase. The results show: the inhibiting effect...
