Studies On Effective Parts Of Rhododendron Dauricum

Rhododendron dauricum L. , the leaf of Rhododendron dauricum has the function of relieving cough and reducing sputum which is used to cure the acute and chronic bronchitis in the clinical practice . It also reported that Rhododendri Daurici has the effect to cure keshan diseases. It mainly distributes in the northeast areas and has the characteristics such as rich resources, remarkable treatment effect and little side effect.For the aim of developing Rhododendron dauricum regarding effective part as the new medicine, we withdraw, separate the Chinese medicine and identify the constituents. Used si-gel column, Polyamide column chromatography and other modern chromatographic method, four chemical constituents were isolated and identified. On the basis of analysis of UV, NMR, MS data, measurement of physico-chemical characters and chemical method, the structures of four compounds were respectively identified as hyperoside, quercetin, farrerol. Furthermore, we studies on the volatile oil which is high contain in the medicines materiall with the one and two dimensions date of chromatography. The results modify the ideas concerning the main composition. The results supplied the researching base to develop the effective part of Folium Rhododendri Daurici as the new medicine.
