ObjectiveTo evaluate the plasminogen activator system (plasminogen activator inhibitor-1 and tissue plasminogen activator) in women with PCOS and compared in groups .Methods69 women with PCOS and 30 healthy controls participated in this study. And their height,weight,waistline,hipline and blood pressure were measured. Patients were evaluated clinically and by vaginal ultrasound fasting blood samples were taken for hematological and biochemical tests. Calculate body mass index (BMI), BMI=weight(kg)/height(m)2 .The PCOS women were divided into two groups:PCOS I group (BM!<24kg/m2)and PCOS II group (BMI>24kg/m2).At the same time ,endocrine, insulin, glucose ,PAI-land t-PA of patients and controls were measured. Observed the variety of PAI-1 and t-PA of 15 women with PCOS in the process of ART.ResultsPAI-1 concentration were significantly higher in PCOS women than healthy control group, and PCOS II group>PCOS I group. The difference were evident(P<0.05).The concentration of t-PA were significantly lower in PCOSwomen than healthy control group,and the difference of PCOS II group and PCOS I group were not evident(P>0.05).PAI-l levels were directly correlated with BMI, WHR, FINS. HOMA-IR,t-PA activity was also correlated with BMI WHR T negatively. To chose the women having normal lipid,OGTT, insulin as group A,and the normal women as group B,the result showed that PAI-1 level of group A were higher than group B and t-PA level of group A were lower than group B. PAI-1 activity of in the day of without drugs ,HCG and ET were 0.84 ± 0.06 0.96 ± 0.07 0.84 ±0.05.There was no distinct difference in the day of without drugs and ET. But they had evident differ with that of HCG day. Activity of t-PA in the day of without drugs ,HCG and ET were 0.29 ±0.05, 0.24 + 0.04,0.27 + 0.05. There was no distinct difference in the day of without drugs and ET. They were lower than the day of injecting HCG.ConclusionAs a conclusion PAI-1 Ag activity were increased t-PA activity were decreased in PCOS women and these were correlated with insulin resistance,BMI,and endocrine. The finding may contribute to evidence of increase risk of cardiovascular disease and anovulatory infertility in PCOS women.
