Expression Of P57~(KIP2),Cyclin E In Human Glioma And Their Relationship With Proliferating Activity Of Tumor Cell | Posted on:2006-10-18 | Degree:Master | Type:Thesis | Country:China | Candidate:B Wu | Full Text:PDF | GTID:2144360182966782 | Subject:Surgery | Abstract/Summary: | PDF Full Text Request | Objective: To explore the expression of P57KIP2 protein Cyclin E protein in human gliomas and their relationship with proliferating activity of tumor cell. Methods: The expression of P57KIP2 protein Cyclin E protein and PCNA protein in 46 glioma tissues was detected by SP immunohistochemical technique. Results: The P57KIP2 protein positive-expression rate in human gliomas was 34.8%, which was lower than that in normal brain tissue (P < 0.05). The P57KIP2 protein positive-expression correlated significantly with the differentiation degree of human glioma (P < 0.05) and the two-year survival time (P < 0.05) . The Cyclin E positive-expression rate in human gliomas was 58.7%.The Cyclin E positive-expression also correlated significantly with the differentiation degree of human glioma (P < 0.05) and the two-year survival time (P < 0.05). The expression of P57KIP2 protein was significant correlation with the expression of Cyclin E protein(rs = -0.359, P < 0.05) and PCNA protein(rs = -0.502, P < 0.01). The expression of Cyclin E protein was significant correlation with the expression of PCNA protein(rs =0.451, P < 0.01).Conclusion: P57KIP2 protein and Cyclin E protein plays an important role in the development and malignant progress of human glioma. The expression level of P57KIP2 protein and CyclinE protein correlated significantly with proliferating activity of tumor cell. The vary of its expression level indicated the vary of the proliferating activity of human glioma.Combined detection of P57KIP2 Cyclin E and PCNA protein is helpful to judge the proliferating activity of tumor cell and prognosis.
