Doctor-Patient Communication In The Context Of Hermeneutics: Exploration Of The Way To Understanding

Patient-doctor relationship is a hot topic in the field of medical ethics. Researchers have explored the mechanism of patient-doctor relationship from different aspects, such as: sociology, justice, economics, etc. In order to understand the reason of dissimilation of patient-doctor relationship, this paper combines the key theory of hermeneutics and humanism of medicine and then provides a concept: hermeneutics of medicine, which is a new realm of edge-cutting discipline between medicine and philosophy. This paper explores the history and main points of hermeneutics. Then it focuses on the categories of medical hermeneutics, which includes phenomenology of body, the meaning of health and illness, doctor-patient relationship, the effects of medical hermeneutics on philosophy of medicine, and medical humanities are pointed out simply. The above topics are discussed from different aspects of naturalism and hermeneutics. Authorities of naturalism make the medicine out of the way so that the meaning of body, health and illness is distorted.
