At the present time, sarcomata is still a kind of serious disease which has beening threatened humans'healthy and lives. The first choice of representative therapy methods of tumors is cut off by operation, and the second method is chemotherapy, actinotheraphy and biotherapy which is rising odd-come-shortly. However, actually, there are some patients'tumors transferred after treatment, and patients'corporeity is injured badly by from head to foot therapy, usually die because of crocking up by overtherapy. So, probing into how to choke back tumor growth and simultaneously no injure for human organism is anther method of treating sarcomata thoroughly. There is a long iatrical history for human to treat diseases applying the characteristic of electric fields and magnetic fields. Recently, electromagnetic fields have been used to treat tumor. The research of cell growth and cell division applying the characteristic of electric fields and magnetic fields are on junior state all over the world. So it makes sense to research on the effects of electrostatic fields on the therapy of tumor cells. Negative high voltage prick electrostatic fields (HVPEF) were used in this experimentation to treat with the murine lung cells Lewis, to find out the effects of HVPEF on cell growth, multiplication and death of tumor cells; and were used to treat with the tumor-bearing mice to find out the effects of it on the life protracting rate of mice.Part.1: Murine lung cells Lewis were exposed to HVPEF with different strengths, respectively. The trypanblue rejection method was used to take counts of the number of living cells and death ones and the growth curves was plotted. The multiplication times, growth rates and killing rates were calculated according to the growth curve. The MTT method and Flow cytometry were employed to test the proliferation and the mortality rates of tumor cells, respectively. The results showed that both growth and proliferation were inhibited after exposed to HVPEF. The growth curve showed that the growth trends of every treated group had significantly inhibited (P < 0.01). The multiplication times and cell cycles were prolonged significantly and the reproduce rates was reduced. At last the proliferation was inhibited. In addition, HVPEF could kill tumor cells (P < 0.01). The killing rates became higher and higher with the increase of exposed times in HVPEF. From the pictures of Flow cytometry, we can know that the dead cell numbers of every treated group were much more than those of contrast group (P < 0.01), the mortality rate of the 6 kV group increased to 74.2%. Part.2: The tumor-bearing mice were exposed to HVPEF with different strength, respectively. Weighting the mice once a day and recording the state of each mouse. The results showed that the weights of treated groups mice increased evidently; 17 kV HVPEF protracted mice'lives...
